We finally have our first look at Scandal season 6.
The first teaser trailer for Scandal season 6 is literally explosive. Kerry Washington released the footage on Twitter, which teased that the full trailer will drop on November 3rd. No official premiere date has been announced, though we know the series will return in 2017.

Scandal Season 6 Episodes
Did the Scandal season 5 finale leave you breathless? Well, we've got good news and bad news. The good news is that Scandal season 6 is definitely happening at ABC (who had a Red Wedding-esque cancellation fest recently).
The bad news is that there will be fewer episodes. Instead of the usual 22 episode season, TV Line reports that Scandal season 6 will only have 16 episodes.

Scandal Season 6 Premiere Date
Scandalbegan life as a spring/summer show, but since then it has stuck to the traditional late September/early October premiere window.
It's now been confirmed that Scandal won't return until 2017. Ahead of ABC's upfront presentation, it was announced that the network was going to break up its TGIT/Shonda Rhimes lineup as they'll give Kerry Washington time to recover from her real-life pregnancy.
