But this season will see him face his toughest challenge yet: a serious, long-term relationship. In order to make it, they'll have to work together and learn to live their lives as a team.
Man Seeking Woman Season 3 Picked Up By FXX
Original Story - 4.12.16
FXX is swiping right on Man Seeking Woman season 3. The FX sister network, quickly becoming known as a comedy destination, gave Simon Rich’s absurdist look on modern dating a vote of confidence with a renewal for a third season. The order is for 10 episodes. FXX is targeting “early 2017” for a premiere.
Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, seem to believe in love. They might even love love! Though no one really believes Josh will find his truest love, right? Man Seeking Woman stars Jay Baruchel as hopeless romantic Josh Greenberg, Eric Andre as his best bro, and Britt Lower as Josh’s lovelorn sister.
“Man Seeking Woman had another great season this year and continues to offer one of the smartest and funniest takes on dating and relationships on TV today,” Grad said in a statement. “We are excited to move forward on a third season of Man Seeking Woman with Simon, Jonathan, Andrew, Ian and Lorne, and thank Jay, Eric and Britt for keeping the show so enjoyable.”
Man Seeking Woman comes from Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video. It’s based on Simon Rich’s book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth. Rich, the creator and showrunner, is also an executive producer along with Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer, Ian Maxtone-Graham and Lorne Michaels.
