The jazzy Gundam series is back this spring!
After a successful first season Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt will return in 2017 for season two. Based on Yasuo Ohtakaki’s Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt manga, the story is set during the original Gundam series UC 0079 timeline. The series follows the battles between two ace pilots in the “Thunderbolt Sector” of space. Featuring a heavy jazz score, the first season released its final episode in April of 2016. The tagline featured in that trailer translates to, “The war is not over yet…” More jazz, more giant mech action, and quite a bit of character conflict. Just what you expect from the Gundam franchise.
