Natalia Cordova-Buckley's Yo-Yo will star in Slingshot, a new web series from Marvel and ABC. Watch the Agents of SHIELD spinoff here.
After Agents of SHIELD season 4's dramatic midseason finale, ABC and Marvel announced another collaboration: Slingshot, a web series that will focus on Natalia Cordova-Buckley's Inhuman Agent Yo-Yo Rodriguez. For those unfamiliar, her superpower is to move at super speed before snapping back to her starting position.
Viewers will get to “witness Agent Yo-Yo’s secret mission in an all-new, six-part digital miniseries”...and you can watch it in full here.
Timeline-wise, it seems the show will take place between season 3 and season 4.
“In Slingshot, we’re going to see a lot of her anger and her pain come out in regard to certain injustices that have been done to her and her family,” Cordova-Buckley said in a promotional video released by ABC. “But at the same time, she never loses her humanity. She doesn’t let the anger blind her.”
