The Farrell clan are back and more bellicose than ever in the Outsiders Season 2 trailer!

Outsiders Season 2 was announced by WGN back in March, subsequently teasing a premiere set for January 2017. Now, on the back of an intriguingly ominous teaser that hit in September, WGN has released the first full trailer for Outsiders Season 2. Moreover, the date of January 24, 2017 has been confirmed for the premiere.
The climactic events of season one, in which the townspeople and law enforcement came face-to-face with the almost mythical Farrells, has wrought ramifications that will leave both sides more divided than ever.
Overall, it’s looking like an exciting sophomore season for WGN’s surprise winter hit.
Here's what we know so far about Outsiders season 2...
Outsiders Season 2 Cast and Plot
It appears there is little information about the newcomers to the mountain as casting news remains quiet.
On the mountain, G’Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy) has assumed leadership of a fractured clan as Asa (Joe Anderson), Hasil (Kyle Gallner) and Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst) stray from the pack, headed for separate collision courses with a civilization the latter two don’t quite understand. Additionally, the town's embattled lawman Wade Houghton (Thomas M. Wright) continues to be at the center of the community conflict, overwhelmed by his desire to follow the law and his own personal addiction demons.

Outsiders Season 2 Trailers:
The first full trailer for Outsiders Season 2 showcases more of the boiling bucolic bloodshed set to occur between the series’ perpetual Kentucky conflict between Appalachian small town denizens and the off-grid mountain-dwelling Farrell clan.
And the first teaser for season two:
WGN America is still feeling out its original programming slate, having cancelled a critical darling, seen the benefits of a Netflix boost with another, and now has a modest hit on its hands. The latter is Outsiders, only the third original effort from the network, which debuted in January and is steadily outperforming its predecessors, Manhattan and Salem.
Outsiders, which follows the struggle between an off-the-grid clan in the Appalachian mountains and the curious townsfolk and businesses who want to change their way of living, is averaging 2.8 million total viewers through its first seven episodes. That’s good enough for WGN America to green light Outsiders season 2.
“We are thrilled that Outsiders has connected with fans in such a powerful and palpable way, and met our highest expectations on every possible level, thanks to Peter Mattei, Peter Tolan, our extraordinary cast, creative team and partners at Sony Pictures Television,” said WGNA president Matt Cherniss in a statement.
The network is quickly expanding its original programming output. Underground, the first TV series based on the events of the Underground Railroad, debuted to the highest same-day ratings for the network. They're also attempting to broaden their reach by picking up pilots for series based on a DC Comic and a graphic novel.
Outsiders comes from playwright Peter Mattei and is executive produced by Peter Tolan and Paul Giamatti. It stars David Morse, Thomas M. Wright, Ryan Hurst, Joe Anderson, Gillian Alexy, Kyle Gallner, Christina Jackson.
