Zach Braff is jealous of the Gilmore Girls revival, and says he'd do more Scrubs episodes...
Zach Braff’s Dr. John Dorian was an attention seeker over nine seasons of Scrubs, constantly obsessing over hair care products and yelling eeeeeaagleee! on the shoulder of his best bud Turk. It’s fitting that Braff sees TV revivals all around him and is a little jealous that JD isn’t in on the fun. In a Twitter Q&A, the actor was asked if a Scrubs revival was possible.
His response: If the Gilmore Girls are having all this fun, why can’t the doctors at Sacred Heart make a comeback?
“It’s something we all talk about,” Braff said. “You never know. It could happen. I'd do it.”
Comedy revivals have been popular in recent years with shows like Arrested Development, Todd Margaret, and more recently Full House, Gilmore Girls and the soon-to-be Mystery Science Theater 3000 reboot, rising from the dead.
Scrubs ended its run in 2010 after 182 episodes, surviving a network jump (NBC to ABC), writer’s strike, and cameos in a Muppets christmas movie.
