The Man in the High Castle will return for a third season. Here's everything you need to know about the show...

The Man in the High Castle Season 3 Release Date
The Man in the High Castle season 3 doesn't have a confirmed release date as of yet, but we can most likely expect it in late 2017, as the first two seasons dropped towards the tail end of 2015 and 2016.
The Man in the High Castle Season 3 Showrunner
After exec producer Frank Spotnitz's sudden departure midway through the production of The Man in the High Castle season 2, Amazon has finally found a replacement showrunner. According to Deadline, Eric Overmyer, who executive produced Amazon’s popular drama series Bosch, will take over as showrunner for season 3.
The Man in the High Castle Season 3 Confirmed
The Man in the High Castle has been renewed for a third season, according to Deadline. The actors and producers talked about what season 3 might look like in a recent Bustle interview. The mood seems hopeful that the Amazon original series will be able to explore more of what a 1960 society under Nazi and Japanese occupation looks like, perhaps not just in America and Germany, but elsewhere as well.
"We haven’t even begun getting into what that might look like,” says producer Isa Hackett. “We’re very much hoping there will be season 3. Obviously, we have to get the green light.” The Emmy-award winning series just released its second season on Amazon on the 16th, pushing the boundaries for each of the characters, including sending Joe Blake, played by Luke Kleintank, to Germany to learn more about his past.
“We’re showing more of the world and slowly putting in pieces of that,” Kleintank says. “I’m surprised and intrigued to see how all that just opens up a whole new Pandora’s box.” The actor then optimistically added, “Third season’s looking pretty good.”
When asked what she’d hope for in a season 3 for The Man in the High Castle, actress Bella Heathcote, who plays Joe Blake’s love interest in season 2, says, “I’d want my character to find a way to be a feminist under the regime, try and change the regime from within. That would be a great way to go.”
Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who plays the incomparable Trade Minister Tagomi, says it best in offering up the lessons of The Man in the High Castle and a way forward for the series in season 3. “Tell the truth, be responsible, it’s okay… if we put the best of what the east is and best of what the west is, we’re unstoppable.”
Will the season 3 go to South America, a location hinted at in season 2? What was the final fate of Frank? Where will Ed and Childan end up? What does the Man in the High Castle have in mind for Julianna? And why has Lem shown up on Tagomi’s doorstep? There are plenty of questions that still need answering in The Man in the High Castle, and we'll hopefully start to get those answers when the show returns.
