If you've yet to binge-watch British period drama Poldark, then you have two months to catch up before season 2 launches on PBS and we are reunited with 18th century Cornish hero Ross Poldark (played by The Hobbit's Aiden Turner) and his lady love Demelza (played by The White Queen's Eleanor Tomlinson).
The first season, based on the Winston Graham novels, garnered a strong cult following in America when it aired last summer, telling the story of a man returning home from the Revolutionary War to find his father dead, the woman he loved engaged to his cousin, and his family's mine derelict. A combination of wonderful production values, the Cornish coast, Aiden Turner's abs, and a traditionally gripping story made the first season a delightful guilty pleasure.
