Supernatural Season 13 has been confirmed by The CW. We expect at this time next year they'll confirm seasons 14 through 20 as well.
Supernaturalmight be the most immortal genre show on TV. And with good reason. It has continued to take chances even though a show that's twelve seasons in doesn't necessarily have to, and it maintains one of the strongest, most loyal fanbases on TV. That's why the word out of the TCA Winter Tour that SupernaturalSeason 13 is a go for next fall should surprise nobody.
The Supernatural Season 13 renewal came as part of a huge host of CW renewal announcements, which included season orders for Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Jane the Virgin, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Midseason shows like Riverdale (which doesn't arrive until later this month) and iZombie (returning in the spring) weren't part of this particular round (yet), and so far there's no word on whether or not struggling newcomers Frequencyand No Tomorrow will get another season on the network.
