Trusted as the New York elite pilfering every beachfront inch of the sandy Montauk shores is a renewal for Showtime’s hit series The Affair. Network boss David Nevins confirmed The Affair season 4 at the TCA Winter Tour.
The series is in the backend of its third season, which after a time jump follows the fallout of Noah Solloway’s release from prison and the stench of his past actions that stain his relationships like a… I’ll leave that simile to your filthy imagination.
Season three again sees Maura Tierney and Ruth Wilson rise above the rest in their lovelorn roles, and newcomer Brendan Fraser adds a needed shot of adrenaline as Noah’s former prison guard.
The Affair is pulling in nearly 1.5 million viewers per episode, on par with Showtime’s now longest-running scripted series, Shameless.

The Affair Season 4 Release Date
No official premiere for The Affair season 4 has been confirmed, however we can likely expect a late 2017 return. Season one and two premiered in October, and season three premiered on November 20th.
