You're going to have to try harder to kill a Ryan Murphy show. The fate of Scream Queens season 3 remains a hot topic at Fox.
You’d be a fool to count out a Ryan Murphy show, even if the ratings are bleeding Scream Queens to an untimely demise. The series from creators Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, is fighting off anemic ratings to have one last gasp at a third installment.
Fox has yet to decide on the fate of Scream Queens season 3, despite disappointment in the gaudy ratings that saw some of the lowest ratings on network television.
A TVLine report has its odds to return to the Fox fall schedule as grim and slight as escaping the clutches of the Red Devil killer.
“Obviously, we would have loved to have seen bigger numbers,” said Fox TV CEO Gary Newman. He went on to tout the show’s “delayed viewing” and it reached “a hard-to-reach younger audience, which we liked.”
Scream Queens Season 3 Release Date
The fate of the series is in Fox's hands. If Scream Queens does return for a third season, it's likely to return in the fall. We'll keep you posted on any further updates.
