Dark looks like Stranger Things meets The Returned and we are here for it.

If you've watched all of the Missing Children Dramas in the English language and are desperate for more, than Netflix has you covered. The streaming content giant just released a teaser trailer for an upcoming series called Dark, a German drama about a small town where children have started to mysteriously go missing — across time.

From the looks of the minute-long teaser trailer, the production values on Dark are great (which makes a lot of sensem given that the show comes from acclaimed Swiss director Baran bo Odar), crafting an atmosphere of terror and suspense, paired with some seriously gutting dramatic moments from its central characters. Dark already reminds us of some of our favorite creepy prestige dramas from the last few years — Stranger Things, The Missing, and The Returned, just to name a few.

The combination of missing children, the supernatural, and its European origins also remind us a lot of Jordskott, an Amazon Prime series originally from Sweden that pairs Scadanavian noir with fairy tale horror. But that's enough talking about what Dark reminds us of. Why not judge this creepy, beautiful teaser trailer on its own merits...

Netflix has given a vague release date of "winter" for Dark, which means it has to be coming out sometime soon. Here's a short, official synopsis for the 10-episode series:

A missing child sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers. Their search for a culprit unearths a small town’s sins and secrets.

More news as we hear it.
