The Walking Dead Season 7 Latest News
While we're still a few weeks away from the season 7 finale, that didn't stop showrunner Scott Gimple from teasing what we should expect from the final episode of the season.
“[Season 6’s finale] was the noose tightening and things getting darker and darker,” Gimple told TV Line. “This season’s finale has darkness and light, real horrific moments, betrayal, and real moments of beauty, redemption, love and friendship. It’s sort of the panoply of human and Walking Dead experience.”
Both Gimple and star Andrew Lincoln have both teased that the finale ends in a very different place to where the season began, something we hope means that Alexandria will somehow come out on top over Negan and the Saviors.
Of course that doesn't mean we should expect all of the characters to come out unscathed. In fact, Gimple confirmed that we should expect some victims in the finale.
“Well, there are losses,” Gimple said. “As the stakes get higher and higher… things start to get more intense and heartbreaking, and yet everyone has to sort of band together and keep going.”
Whatever "losses" means, we hope that the finale still allows Rick and friends to get their groove back and fight back.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Return Date
The Walking Dead season 7 will return on March 5, 2017 with an episode called "Bury Me Here." You can read a review of the most recent episode here.
