Assassins aren’t known for their longevity, but Amazon is betting Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn's upcoming series, Too Old to Die Young might stick around for a while. They ordered ten episodes and cast Fantastic Four star Miles Teller as Martin, a grieving cop who goes bad.

The series is set in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, where a society of assassins holds court.

Too Old to Die Young will be Teller’s first series regular role. The actor starred in The Spectacular Now (2013), the Divergent series, Whiplash (2014), and War Dogs (2016) with Jonah Hill and Bradley Cooper. He will be featured in Lionsgate’s upcoming Granite Mountain, which hits theaters on September 22, and Universal’s Thank You for Your Service, which is being produced by Steven Spielberg.

“I’m a huge fan of Nic’s work so the opportunity to work with him, and for a company like Amazon, with this type of material is very exciting,” Teller said

Too Old to Die Young was written by Refn and comic book writer Ed Brubaker.  Refn is set to direct every episode himself. Refn wrote and directed Valhalla Rising, directed Drive, and worked on the films The Neon Demon, and Only God Forgives.

Too Old To Die Young doesn’t have a premiere date yet. Filming is scheduled to begin in the fall.
