This Walking Dead article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for both the show and the comics.

The Walking Deadis marching to war in the season 7 finale, as Alexandria, the Kingdom, the Hilltop, and Jadis' group all prepare for a fight against the oppressive Saviors.

Of course, this means that the season 7 finale should have a bit of a bodycount. Which is why we have this handy board to keep track of who's survived the season and who's become zombie meat. The first half of the season killed off some beloved characters as well as gave us a few surprise deaths. Will the finale surprise us?

For your reading pleasure, we've compiled a list of all the characters left on the show and predict whether they'll survive season seven or face the end of the road. We'll be updating this list with the results throughout the season as characters start dying.

Here we go...AGAIN, MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW!

Result: Dead

Richard was strangled to death by Morgan.

Benjamin

Prediction: Dead

Result: Dead

Benjamin was shot by a Savior.

Spencer

Prediction: Dies

Result: Dead

Spencer was gutted by Negan in the midseason finale.

Olivia

Predicition: Lives

Result: Dead

Olivia was shot by Arat in the midseason finale.

Heath (Corey Hawkins)

Prediction: Dies

Result: ???

The last we saw of Heath, he was surrounded by walkers while trying to save Tara. It's unclear if he made it out alive or if he managed to escape the horde...

Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz)

Prediction: Dies

Result: Died

Abraham was bludgeoned to death by Negan in the season premiere.

Glenn (Steven Yeun)

Prediction: Dies

Result: Died

Glenn was bludgeoned to death by Negan in the season premiere.

Simon (Steven Ogg)

Prediction: Dies

As much as I love Steven Ogg - he played the psychopath Trevor in Grand Theft Auto V- Simon has all the signs of a henchmen marked for death. Since I'm pretty sure Negan is in this for the long run, Simon could be the big death on the side of the bad guys. That said, I'd love to see Ogg on this show for longer than a few episodes.

Dwight (Austin Amelio)

Prediction: Lives

I'm going with what I know from the comics about Dwight. He lives on for several arcs in the book, so there's no reason for me to suspect he'll die so soon. That said, he's picked a fight with one of the most badass characters on the show, which means Daryl could be putting an arrow through his head by season's end. If Dwight does get to live on, there are some interesting storylines that could be explored with the character.

King Ezekiel (Khary Payton)

Prediction: Lives

Ezekiel is a major part of the events to come, especially in the upcoming war against Negan. I think he'll live on if only to watch Shiva eat some Saviors in battle. Ezekiel should carry enough weight on the show that his death will have to be very meaningful a season or two from now.

Shiva

Prediction: Lives

This tiger is so important in the comics that she deserves to be treated as a character on the show. As long as Ezekiel lives, we'll have Shiva, I think. I can't wait to watch Shiva eat some people at some point in season seven.

Gregory (Xander Berkeley)

Prediction: Dies

I think Gregory is not long for this world. The cracks in his leadership showed from the beginning. For one thing, he's too cowardly to stand up for the Hilltop when the Saviors come to town. And it doesn't help that he's kind of a creep, especially with Maggie. I think Hilltop will probably get a big shake-up before the end of the season. A change in leadership could be just the thing.

Paul "Jesus" Monroe (Tom Payne)

Prediction: Lives

Tom Payne's Paul "Jesus" Monroe is still a fairly new character, and his story spans several arcs in the comics. I think there's still much to do at the Hilltop Colony, and Jesus is a key part of all of that. Jesus will probably make it to season eight.

Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam)

Prediction: Lives

I marked Father Gabriel for death last year, but he's really come into his own since then. I think Gabriel is probably safe for the time being. That said, I'm not sure what kind of stories they'll spin out of the character.

Morgan Jones (Lennie James)

Prediction: Lives

Morgan's dead by this point in the comics, so I'm not sure what the writers have planned for the character this year. We know two things: 1) he's with Carol, and 2) they're both going to spend some time at a new settlement known as the Kingdom. I think Morgan and Carol are going to explore that space for a bit before anything happens to either of them. It'll be interesting to see how Morgan gets involved in the fight against Negan, though.

Aaron (Ross Marquand)

Prediction: Lives

I really liked Aaron when he first appeared in season five as a sort of comedic foil for the other super serious character. He's unfortunately moved more towards the depressing side of things, as all Walking Dead characters do. Still, he might shine again this season at some point? Not really sure what he has to do on the show, but I don't think he's a big enough death for the season seven premiere.

Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos)

Prediction: Lives

They finally gave Rosita stuff to do last season, even if it was just breaking up with Abraham and taking Spencer as her new lover. Maybe they'll develop that a bit more or they'll simply put her back in the background in season seven. I really hope it's the former.

Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt)

Prediction: Lives

Eugene is indestructible. Every time he's faced a dangerous situation, whether it's at the mercy of a horde of walkers or cannibals or a rifle, he always hobbles his way out of trouble somehow. And he's just leveled up and bit a bad guy in the crotch, so he's better than ever. The mullet can never die!

Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson)

Prediction: Lives

The Walking Deadprobably won't kill THAT many characters in season seven. Since she's going to be in the supply run episode with Heath, who's totally going to die, the writers will probably spare her. Especially since the show loves misery and letting Tara get back to Alexandria and find out about Denise is probably too good to pass up.

Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green)

Prediction: Lives

I marked her for death last season when it seemed she'd gone too far down the walker rabbit hole, but she seems to have a new lease on life. She'll live through season seven, if only for a chance to have her mourn Abraham's death and get into some kind of conflict with Rosita. Which will totally happen.

Judith

Prediction: Lives

AMC WILL NOT KILL A BABY...Right?

Carol (Melissa McBride)

Prediction: Lives

Carol has gone through hell and back over and over. From domestic violence to losing her daughter to being exiled to baking cookies to losing her lust for blood and ditching Alexandria, Carol has faced it all on this show. If season six didn't kill her, I don't think season seven will off her that easily. I'm excited to see what new perspective Carol brings to the show now that she's in the Kingdom. I also want to see her get back from the existential crisis she faced last year. Also, she's my favorite character and I never want her to die.

Maggie (Lauren Cohan)

Prediction: Lives

A lot of people think Maggie surviving the season seven premiere is improbable, if only because the show doesn't need another baby on the cast. Of course, Judith is barely ever on the show to begin with, so Maggie's baby could just be in the background and mentioned every once in a while. I don't think the writers will just cut down all of Maggie's development as a character for a shock and awe moment.

Maggie is going to be a mother and she's well on her way to becoming a formidable leader among the survivors. And I'm hoping we get to see her become even more empowered by Glenn's death instead of just moping around for a whole season. I want to see Maggie kick some Savior ass!

Carl (Chandler Riggs)

Prediction: Lives

I want Carl to live just so he can have his big storyline from the comics, which really helped flesh out the character beyond what we'd seen before. Carl and Negan are totally due for a couple of scenes together in season seven.

Daryl (Norman Reedus)

Prediction: Lives

This badass fan favorite is never going to die. At least not this season...or the next. File this guy under immortal.

Michonne (Danai Gurira)

Prediction: Lives

Do you even have to ask?

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)

Prediction: Lives

There's no way this guy is going out after one season. He's too big of a character to just kill off so soon. He's still alive in the comics, so I think we'll be seeing Morgan's face for quite some time on the show.

Rick (Andrew Lincoln)

Prediction: Lives

Okay, doomsayers. Get over it. Sheriff Rick isn't going anywhere. Not while he can mercilessly put a bullet right between your eyes. And he's the ubermensch, so...
