Don't worry, everyone. Homeland Season 7 will almost certainly be here in 2018.
Against all odds, Homeland returned to its former glory this season, and even delivered an excellent season finale. So what's next? Will we see a Homeland Season 7?
The good news is that yes, Homeland Season 7 has been confirmed by Showtime. In even better news, it sounds like Homeland Season 8 is also a go. Last June came the first reports that the show was given a two season renewal.
While we're still not 100% sure if that eighth season will hold, given the way this year went, we're very excited about the prospects of Homeland Season 7. As soon as we have more information on what to expect from what is once again our favorite political drama, we'll let you know.
Homeland Season 7
The first five seasons of the show all premiered in the fall. Season six was the first to take a January premiere date instead. We don't know what the plans are for the next season yet, but they'd have to go into production almost immediately to arrive in September or October, so let's say we won't see Homeland Season 7 until early 2018. We'll update this when we have confirmation.
