Watch Justin Roiland get sloppy drunk to get into character in this disturbing Rick and Morty Season 3 video.
Adult Swim has released a behind the scenes clip of Rick and Morty co-creator and voice of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, recording his lines for the fourth episode of season three. There’s next to nothing revealed about the content of the episode (all we know, from co-creator Dan Harmon’s introduction, is that it’s about Rick getting “especially drunk”), but it’s honestly just a very funny clip of Roiland being a belligerent, drunken prick to his associate producer.
Harmon suggested Justin go all method actor for this episode, so he downs four shots of tequila, a beer, and then another shot of tequila.
If you were a listener of Roiland’s pre-Rick and Morty podcast, The Grandma’s Virginity Podcast, the uncontrollable nature of drunk Justin was something discussed there, not to mention his obsession with the inevitability of death that faces us all (something he also talks about on Twitter sometimes, the goofball!).
