Lucy Hale stars as a young woman who has been living with terminal cancer for eight years when everything changes...

The CW just released tons of trailers for its new shows, including a trailer for Life Sentence, a dramedy starring Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale.
Hale stars as a young woman who has been living with terminal cancer for eight years. When she is unexpectedly cured, she has to learn how to live with the decisions she made when she thought she was dying. As she enters this new phase of her life, her friends and family begin to admit that they have kept some of the more complicated and/or difficult aspects of their lives from Hale's character.
Life Sentence also stars: Elliot Knight, Dylan Walsh, Gillian Vigman, Jayson Blair, Brooke Lyons, and Carlos PenaVega. It looks like another addition to The CW's hour-long dramedy brand, which has been less commercially successful than its superhero fare, but tends to garner more critical praise — not to mention a loyal, demographic-friendly audience.
Other hour-long dramedies on The CW schedule for next year include: Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. No Tomorrow was canceled after one season by The CW.
This trailer is a lot of fun and highlights Life Sentence's unique premise. It doesn't hurt that Hale is hugely popular, especially after seven seasons on the hit show Pretty Little Liars. Life Sentence will mark her return to The CW. She starred as Rose Baker on The WB's Privileged for one season back in 2008-2009.
