No one does milestones like South Park. I’ve only seen Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s 200th episode once, presumably because Tom Cruise is trying to sue their pants off in the high courts of England. Whether Tom Cruise is back in a factory packing fudge or the show’s persistent creators have another standoff with Comedy Central over the use of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, it’s the safest bet in television that South Park will cook up something completely outrageous for its landmark 20th season.
South Park Season 20 will bring the show to 277 episodes, trailing only The Simpsons, who’ve done it all already and are quickly approaching their 600th (!) episode with no clear end in sight. Barring unforeseen circumstances, South Park should at least hit 300 episodes -- Stone and Parker are signed on through season 23, which would air in 2019.
It's tough to look beyond this coming season though, considering Stone and Parker must be antsy to start their 10-episode run during the boiling point of what promises to be a contentious, to put it lightly, 2016 election.

South Park Season 20 Release Date
South Park season 20 premiered on September 14th on Comedy Central. Episodes are available to stream on South Park's website, the Comedy Central app, and Hulu.
South Park season 20 episode two, "Skank Hunt," premieres Wednesday, September 21st at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central. Here's the episode synopsis: "The boys decide they have to take down Cartman but meanwhile, Skank Hunt takes his rein of terror global."
