Want everything from Korra's firebending test to the tease of a sapphic Spirit World vacay? Well, now you can get it all in one place!

A while back, some official art ended up making the rounds on the internet, eventually revealed to be art for the complete series box set of The Legend of Korra. When fans learned that it wasn’t a domestic release, they were at the very least bummed. Well, that’s no longer an issue.
The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series will be available on DVD and a Limited Edition Blu-Ray set on December 13th, just in time for the holidays. That’s right. All 52 episodes as well as a plethora of special features will be available in one convenient set at the suggested retail price of $42.99 (DVD) and $47.99 (Blu-ray). And that extra five bucks covers a hell of lot more than just a bump in format.
This set would be satisfying enough if it were merely a repackaging of the Blu-rays, which had already offered an embarrassment of riches in the special features department, but The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series will provide us with eight new episode commentaries, four new “The Spirit of an Episode” featurettes, the complete "Republic City Hustle" mini-series, and a new featurette on Kuvira vs. Prince Wu. And as if that weren’t enough, the limited edition Blu-Ray set will include selections from The Legend of Korra: The Art of the Animated Series as a special gift with purchase. Hot damn!
Nickelodeon really seems like they’ll be doing right by all us Korra fans, and this one is looking forward to this release like you wouldn’t believe. Check back here for a review of The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series after the set drops on December 13th!
