We already knew that Michelle Gomez's Missy (aka The Master) would be back in Season 10, but we weren't sure about the time frame. Speaking to Music.com this week, Gomez said that she would be "starting back" on Doctor Who "soon."
What does this mean? Well, the cast and crew are roughly a third of the way through filming their tenth season (about four episodes of the 12), so this most likely means that Missy will return sometime in the second half of season 10, but we'll have to wait and see.
We haven't seen Missy since episodes one and two of season nine — oh so long ago. Will Missy mention Clara to The Doctor? What has she been up to since season nine? Is she the one who sets the daleks after Bill and The Doctor? All questions that will hopefully be answered in season 10.

Doctor Who series 10 will premiere in Spring 2017, but there WILL be at least one new Doctor Who episode in 2016 in the form of this year's Christmas special. So the wait isn't THAT unbearable...
Spotted by our pals over at Cultbox is this short fan video by @CreativeCatFX filmed on the set of Doctor Who series 10, which features Peter Capaldi meeting and greeting young fans.
Asked by a fan when the Doctor would be making a return to BBC One, Capaldi replies, "We'll be on at Christmas and then it starts again in April, I think."
That narrows down the BBC's previous "spring 2017" start date announcement to the show's traditional month of April. Good stuff.
