More animated versions of Dan Harmon and other famous people on fantastical adventures in Harmonquest Season 2!
The cartoon most people know Dan Harmon for is Rick and Morty but he has another really solid animated series online, HarmonQueston Seeso. In it, dungeon master Spencer Crittenden guides Harmon and a rotating cast of guest stars on an epic adventure by way of the role-playing game, Pathfinder. The first season was really solid and a lot of fun, but it ended on a cliffhanger. Happily, Seeso has ordered a second season so the quest shan’t end unresolved!
If you haven’t checked out the first season on Seeso, it comes highly recommended. I can count the number of times I’ve played tabletop RPGs on one hand, but the mix of animation and funny famous people doing improv makes the show accessible whether you’re a huge nerd or just a comedy fan. Also, on November 3rd, Seeso is premiering HarmonQuest: Expanded Universe, which will add bonus and deleted scenes from Season 1, so there’s all manner of roleplaying tomfoolery on the way!
