Who is the Riverdale murderer? We asked the cast for their best theories.
Warning: This Riverdale story contains minor spoilers — i.e. ones outlined in the promos. But, if you want to go into the show completely blind, do not read.
The CW's Riverdale is isn't your parents' Archie Comics. This quickly becomes clear in the pilot as the show immediately kills off Jason Blossom, spurring a murder mystery plot that will seemingly provide much of the narrative thrust for the first season.
But what does the rest of the cast know of Jason Blossom's murder? Not too much. We had a chance to visit the Riverdale set in Vancouver late last year and asked KJ Apa (Archie) and Camila Mendes (Veronica) who they think the murderer might be. Here's what they told us...

Luke Perry, who plays Archie's dad Fred Andrews, said the cast definitely discusses the possibilities, but that they are still in the dark:
None of us can figure out who has done this thing yet, so we as the readers of these scripts when they first come out, we still don't know. But, yeah, it could be me... And I hope it is. I've never played that kind of guy.
So don't feel bad if you can't figure out who killed Jason Blossom yet. The Riverdale cast is episodes ahead of us and is still trying to solve the mystery. In the mean time, feel free to theorize in the comments.
