Tracey Ullman will bring a brand new six-episode half-hour sketch series called Tracey Ullman’s Show to HBO this fall. The network dropped its first images and trailer.
The HBO comic mainstay will play a “wide array of everyday people and famous faces,” including Dame Judi Dench and Angela Merkel, in the series. Tracey Ullman’s Show will look at “modern life on the British side of the pond.
Ullman has been on HBO a number of times, performing in Tracey Takes On..., which ran for four seasons and got six Emmy Awards. She appeared in Woody Allen's Small Time Crooks and Bullets Over Broadway, Robert Altman's Ready to Wear and Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights. She also got Paul McCartney to take a backseat in a music video.
Tracey Ullman’s Showwill premiere on HBO October 28 at 11 p.m.
